The hobby of radio controlled models is an advocation of choice by many individuals who have an interest in model airplanes, helicopters, multirotors (aka drones) and cars. The technology is such that reliability and ease of installation have revolutionized the hobby.
Our model club is located right here in the Lock Haven / Mill Hall area located in the Nittany Valley near Interstate 80. The facilities include a runway, set up tables for each flyer, and a club house. In addition, a rustic wooded overnight camping area is available for members. To get to Buzzard Field take US 220 West toward Interstate 80 Exit 178 and turn east on Auction Road (0.7 mile north of the Interstate). Go east on Auction Road for 0.4 miles and turn right (south) on Ridge road which will lead to the model field.
Flying activity is active on weekends (especially Sunday afternoons) and many evenings when the weather is cooperative. Stop by and enjoy the activity of radio controlled model flying.
